Guy Cisternino: 2011 Jacksonville Pro
29 year old Guy Cisternino in his third IFBB pro competition. Somehow I have overlooked the 5'6" Jersey boy. Cisternino earned his pro card at the 2008 NPC Nationals when he won the middleweight class weighing in a 174lbs. He made his 202 division pro debut in 2010 at the Europa Battle of Champions, placing 6th and then moved up a slot to 5th three weeks later at the Europa Super Show.
During prejudging, Dave Palumbo at RxMuscle's Paly-by-Play wrote of Cisternino:
"Best I’ve ever seen him. Much bigger... weighed in at 202lbs (he was 176 when he turned pro)... phenomenal conditioning... striated glutes/hams... Striated quads. Shredded abs. Great coloring. Should certainly be top 3."
At MD the comments were:
Don Long: "Legs are hard. Looks good with the extra weight." and "Nice glutes. Hams are split. Good back double bi."
Fakhri Mubarak: "Very dry... Very grainy looking. Confident poser. Good most muscular."
Cisternino was in the first callout along with Vaughn Ettienne, Branden Ray, Mike Valentino, Angel Vargas and Nathan Wonsley. He was then brought out again for fourth callout - this time just with just Ettienne, Ray and Valentino - and a top three finish is all but confirmed for him at this point!
