Liberatore just missed out on a qualifying spot for the Olympia by placing 4th at the Europa Show of Champions at the end of April... he's obviously looking to make secure a spot for himself at the big show by kicking ass this weekend in Dallas...
The big Aussie doing some alternative training at Big John McCarthy's Ultimate Training Academy in Valancia CA, two weeks out from the Europa Super Show in Dallas the weekend of August 12 and 13. In the pic below Con was a big 264lbs three weeks out.
5'8" 44 year old Troy Alves was runner up at both the 2010 Tampa Pro and the Europa Battle of Champions, before somehow failing to place at the Olympia. Now getting ready for the 2011 Europa Supershow in Dallas on August 12 and 13, Troy is already looking on point. First up pictures from just this week, going back to Troy at about 7 weeks out at the end of June.
Mike last competed at the 2009 Europa Supershow (pix above), where he placed 11th in the 202 class. Two years prior, at the 2007 Europa, he was 15th in the open division. Those were his only pro competitions.
He earned his pro card at the 2006 USA by winning the heavyweights (and then being awarded one of the two pro cards), but he probably should have earned it at the 2005 Nationals, where he lost his class (and pro card) to Jonathan Rowe (who?).
