Branden Ray: 2007 Conditioning

As I've mentioned previously, back before going pro young Branden Ray was a shining light in the sport at the 2007 Junior Nationals. Only thing was he couldn't quite max out his potential in 2008 (with two runner up placings) and then fell to 4th in 2009. This all would have been perfectly fine for another athlete just not someone with Ray's obvious genetic potential!

Branden Ray: Light Heavy Pro

The 5'7" 29 year old Branden Ray was back with a vengeance at the 2010 Nationals in Atlanta tipping the scales at the top of his class at 198lbs. The former CNN employee and 2007 Junior Nationals light heavy champ, had a rough couple of contest years where he just couldn't seem to live up to the hype around him and his 2007 performance, culminating with a very disappointing 4th place finish at last year's Nationals. I'm glad he's back on top!!!
